In January 2024, HLT and partners purchased 129 acres in Joppatowne, known as Foster Branch Park. Previously planned for 265 single family homes, the property will soon be open to all as a County park.

In late December 2020, 905 acres of hardwood forest were permanently protected and added to Maryland’s Stoney Demonstration Forest in southern Harford County.
In 1994, the Harford Land Trust’s fourth major project protected land around Deer Creek, expanding Palmer State Park.
In 2020, Harford Land Trust facilitated the purchase of the 347-acre Belle Vue Farm in partnership with Harford County, the State of Maryland, and Aberdeen Proving Ground.
Answering the call of the falls, Harford Land Trust joined the community effort to protect Kilgore Falls.
In 2001, the Harford Land Trust protected 32 acres of woods, wetlands and waterfront surrounding Harford County’s Anita C. Leight Estuary Center.
In 1991, Harford Land Trust protected 145 acres of undeveloped lake, tidal inlet, and woodlands near the Bush River to forever preserve the natural beauty of this area.
Harford County, the State of Maryland, and the Harford Land Trust purchased a 44-acre parcel adjoining Eden Mill Nature Center in Pylesville, Maryland in 2008.
