Falls East Buffer
In June 1997, the Trust purchased the 62-acre farm of the late Rebecca E. DeVoe, the last unprotected property adjacent to the Falls. It sold the 22 acres immediately east of the Falls property to the Maryland Park Service as a buffer for the Falls, and the remaining 40 acres and all structures with three development rights to a private owner.
