Mission Statement

The mission of the Harford Land Trust is to protect tracts of agricultural and natural landscapes that provide significant benefits to the citizens of Harford County, Maryland. Efforts to achieve this goal include:
- purchasing and holding threatened lands for transfer to conservation-minded ownership,
- providing assistance to landowners wanting to limit future development through conservation easements,
- advocating sound land use policy, and
- fostering increased appreciation and understanding of our county's natural resources.
